Located to the SO. from the province of Zaragoza. It is accessed from the capital by the N-II road with detour to the SE. from Calatayud to the N-234 road, and new detour in Morata de Jiloca to the local road, in the Sierra de Atea.
On April 23, St. George's Day (patron of Aragon), a pilgrimage is celebrated until the hermitage of the Saint, with a large participation of the neighbors.
The pilgrimage to the chapel of Our Lady of Semon, near Acered, has been celebrated for more than 200 years on the third Sunday of May.
The popular festivities of San Roque, are celebrated the first Sunday of August and the following Monday. Together with the typical festive events of San Roque Day, the chicken run and the donkey race stand out for their uniqueness.
