The municipality Trasmoz covers an area of 18.3 Km2.
This town is at a distance of 80 Km from Zaragoza city.
Located at an altitude of 765 m.
In 1996 he was a resident population of 67 inhabitants.

Situation
Al NO. de la provincia de Zaragoza.
Se accede desde la capital, por la autopista A-68 o la carretera N-232, con desvío a carretera N-122 en salida de autopista, donde hay que coger la dirección a Borja, Tarazona y Soria. Pasado Bulbuente coger la carretera local en dirección a Vera de Moncayo, y desde esta población el desvio a Trasmoz en plena sierra del Moncayo.
El castillo, que se divisa desde muchos kilometros de distancia, presenta la imagen típica de la fortificación medieval que domina un territorio quedando la población en las faldas del monte en que se sitúa. Su antigüedad es manifiesta, y consta de un perímetro amurallado y seis torres admás de la del Homenaje.
Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer inmortalizó Trasmoz en sus Cartas desde mi celda. Valeriano Bécquer dibujó a Gustavo Adolfo dentro del castillo de Trasmoz en dos láminas del álbum "Expedición a Veruela".
También resalta en el municipio la Iglesia de la Virgen de la Huerta, cuyo origen se fija en la fabrica medieval de los siglos XII y mitad del XIII, manteniendo todavía la nave y su portada.
Celebrations:
El calendario festivo empieza el 16 de enero festividad de San Antón, con la cena alrededor de la hoguera.
El 29 de abril, es la festividad del Santo Cristo de la Piedad.
El 15 de agosto la Virgen de agosto, y el día 16, San Roque, (patronales)
El 9 de septiembre se celebra la Virgen de la Huerta
También se recupero la fiesta de difuntos, que se celebra el 1 de noviembre.
