The major festivals are celebrated on August 22, 23 and 24, these being consecrated to San Roque, Santa Waldesca and the Holy Trinity respectively.
Veguillas de la Sierra is a Teruel municipality located south of the Sierra de Javalón, on the border with Rincón de Ademuz and Cuenca. The landscape runs through forests, junipers, pine forests, wheat fields and mountains, at a height of about 1270 meters above sea level and covering an area of about 14 km². Six streets and a square make up an urban area made up of fifty houses divided into two nuclei, located around the Plaza on one side and along Cantón Street on the other.
In the immediate surroundings of the town we can find a series of spaces that show us the natural wealth that the town enjoys and invite us to walk and visit them. In fact, a path passes through Veguillas that encompasses the Route of the Ebron Straits, with a total route of 56.5 km and that starts in Tormón. Some of the most attractive spaces in Veguillas are:
Located 55 kilometers from Teruel, it can be accessed from it through the N-330 towards Cuenca until the Torrebaja detour, we cross the town (N-330a) and connect with the N-440 to Cuenca, in the that we must take the detour to Arroyo Cerezo that leads us to Veguillas de la Sierra.
