The Teruel Moors always stood out in the art of ceramics and construction, making Teruel the focus of the most beautiful Mudejarism in the entire region and, therefore, in Spain. Over the centuries, Teruel has not lost the Mudejar packaging and the attachment to the grace of the beautiful Hispano-Muslim style, to the point of being its Mudejar character a clear defining of the urban landscape.
Teruel is par excellence the Mudejar city, declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco. The Muslim contribution of the builders and scientists of the 12th and 13th centuries has bequeathed the Mudejar architectural jewels of the Torres de San Pedro, San Martín, El Salvador and the Cathedral. The monumental wealth of these towers are extended in their respective temples, and once visited, Teruel abounds in its monumental interest through the canvases and towers of the old walled enclosure, or the important architectural samples of the 16th and 17th centuries.
