El nombre de Rueda hace alusión a la colosal noria enclavada en la huerta del Monasterio de Nuestra Señora de Rueda de Ebro, principal monumento de la comarca de Ribera Baja del Ebro en Sástago, cuya titularidad corresponde actualmente al Gobierno de Aragón que se ocupa de su recuperación.

Acceso
Se encuentra a 74 km de Zaragoza, por la N-232 en dirección a Castellón, se sigue hasta Quinto, donde se toma la carretera que lleva a Escatrón, junto al Ebro, en cuya margen izquierda se localiza el Monasterio. También desde Zaragoza en dirección a Barcelona, por la A-2 o la II-2 se va hasta Bujaraloz y de alli a Sástago.
